Light Tower with Audio

The AVTECH Light Tower w/Audio is designed to enhance the alerting capabilities of the Room Alert 32W, 32E, 4E or 3E monitors to include visual and audible alerting when an issue or event occurs. The visual lights and audio alarms can also be turned on or off automatically or manually via the Room Alert web interface, AVTECH’s Device ManageR software and SNMP Trap or SNMP Set commands. Any Room Alert or Axis camera on the network can enable or disable the lights or audio. The light tower does not need to be directly attached to that unit. This capability allows the Light Towers to be mounted in any location where the lights are highly visible and trigger from across the network. Lights can be activated by alarms detected by sensors connected or by other devices remotely across the network.

The Light Tower w/Audio is connected to the Room Alert 4E via the Light Tower Connection Port on the back of the Room Alert 4E monitor. Room Alert 32W, 32E and 3E monitors require a Light Tower & Relay Adapter (which includes a Relay Switch) in order to connect the Light Tower. The Light Tower w/Audio has an adjustable audio alarm with an intensity range of 0 dB to 95 dB (at 1m). It can be adjusted by simply unscrewing the cover or removing the center plug. The Light Tower w/Audio comes standard with a 15′ cable that connects via easy ‘twist & click’ connectors. It can be extended to just over 100′ with AVTECH’s 25´ Light Tower w/Audio Extension Cable ONLY.

Cell Modem with USB

The Cell Modem w/USB Connection allows you to send text message alerts over any LTE/GSM/GPRS/ EDGE network from AVTECH’s Room Alert Manager software. This compact 4G/3G/2G modem connects directly to Room Alert Manager’s host system by a USB 2.0 connector, which also provides power to the modem. It requires a SIM card (mini-SIM), which you may obtain from your cellular service provider.

PoE Active Splitter

The PoE Active Splitter (5V) is designed to enable easy integration of Power over Ethernet (PoE) technology with supported AVTECH environment monitoring hardware. All of AVTECH’s Room Alert monitors are powered at 5V. Therefore, the PoE Active Splitter will work with all network enabled models.

When used with AVTECH’s Room Alert products, the PoE splitter allows AVTECH’s monitoring hardware to be placed anywhere Ethernet is available. This is an easy installation requiring about 30 seconds to complete and eliminates the requirement of having an electrical outlet near the desired location of a Room Alert monitor. Electricians cost time and money, union rules may apply. Locate your Room Alert or TemPageR monitor anywhere you desire with our PoE Active Splitter (5V).

Flood Protect and Control Kit

The AVTECH Flood Protect & Control Kit helps protect critical equipment and areas against flood and water leak damage in the event your data center or facility incurs unexpected water intrusion.

This kit includes Flood Berms, Flood Barrier Mats, and Flood Cleanup Mats. The Flood Berms can be placed around server racks and cabinets, storage racks, food supplies, file cabinets, or any other location that stores critical resources. Each Flood Berm is 4 feet (121.92 cm) long and and grows to 2.5 inches (6.35 cm) high while absorbing almost 2 gallons of liquid to form a protective berm to help provide additional flood protection. Flood Barrier Mats absorb 1 quart of liquid each, while Flood Cleanup Mats absorb 1.5 quarts of liquid each to help clean up unexpected water or liquid.

Pair the Flood Protect & Control Kit with AVTECH’s Flood Sensors w/Cable or Spot Flood Sensors to help detect and notify when liquid is present, while also protecting your critical assets from the liquid until you arrive onsite to perform additional remediation.

Light Tower & Relay Adapter

The AVTECH Light Tower & Relay Adapter is required to connect the Light Tower, Light Tower audible and visual alarm or the Relay Switch Sensor to AVTECH’s Room Alert 32W, 32E, 12E or 3E environment monitors. It also includes one (1) relay switch that can be used to turn on/off low voltage devices via the Room Alert web interface, Device ManageR or automatically in response to an alarm condition going in or out of an alert stage. Common uses for this relay include connecting to a building alarm panel or other notification system to automate advanced alerting and response to static building alarms that do not notify staff. Users can also connect it to a generator, back up HVAC unit, fan or water pump to turn it on/off in response to an alert condition. The built-in relay supports loads up to 0.3A at 125VAC or 1A at 24VDC.

This is an instant ‘Plug & Play’ adapter that connects directly into the ‘Light Tower / Relay’ Port on the Room Alert 32W, 32E and 12E monitors, or the Room Alert 3E via the included 25´ RJ-11 Cable, and to a Light Tower or Relay Switch Sensor via a connection cable. Connect the relay by using standard speaker wire, twisted pair or any reliable low voltage 2-wire cable. The AVTECH Light Tower & Relay Adapter is ONLY compatible with AVTECH’s Room Alert 32W, 32E, 12E and 3E at this time, or Relay Switch Sensor. A 5V 1A International Power Adapter is included that provides independent power to the attached devices.
